Main Menu - The Secure ? Button
Secure ? will allow you to test if the Admin user that is available on every computer will be able to see data from a table in your database. You will run this option on a number of tables in your database after you have setup workgroup security on the database. This button will only appear if you setup workgroup security under Options.

NOTE: This button will only appear after you setup a workgroup file. |
Figure 1 - The secure button will allow you to test the security of your database.
Once you click the button, you are asked to enter the name of a table in your database using the input form shown in Figure 2. You will need to retrieve this name from the database yourself.

Figure 2 - Enter the name of a table in your database that you want to test for
security.
Now if the workbench can find the table and retrieve the data, the first 2 columns and 10 rows are displayed in the viewer. A message is displayed below to indicate the problems with your table. If the table cannot be displayed, then that only means that you have passed this most basic of tests. There are other ways that Admin can be granted Access to your tables which you will have to test for yourself.

Figure 3 - If the table is not secure
to the Admin Account, some rows are displayed
