Figure 1 - The Favorites Tab.

The Favorites Tab will store databases that you use often, the folder that they reside in plus a category that you can group like databases together on.

Add Button - This will add a Database to the Favorites Tab. It will bring up the Add / Modify window (Figure 2) with the details of the currently selected database. The database can be given an ID as well as a Cateogry to identify it by. This is handy as sorting of your favorites to quickly find a desired database. If you have a database that needs compacting regularly, you can enter a maximum size that you will allow the database to expand to before it should be compacted. Enter this size in megabytes.

You can also identify the workgroup settings that you want to use when you open the database. If you use more than one version of Access 2000, Access 2002 or Access 2003 on your computer, you can specify the default version of software that you want to open your database with.

Edit Button - Clicking this button, while selecting a current database stored in the Favorite's Tab will allow you to change the database's details as shown in Figure 2. The folder button on this form will allow you to change the location of the database using a File Dialog box.
