Graph Types

Microsoft Chart supports over 40 different types of charts.  Graf-FX smart graphs are standard Access forms with a graph object embedded in them.  Therefore you can use anyone of these forms in your data exploration.  The buttons on the right hand side of the smart graph allow you to view your data in any one of the choosen formats.

Legends

The legend allows you to identify the components of your graph easily.  You can turn the legend on and off using the toggle button on the smart graph.

Title

The title is similar to the SQL query that is generated to display the information that you have selected.  This title has been made into more understable words.

Sorting Data

Once you have your graph displayed you can sort the the information using the sort options.  This will allow you to display any column of data from the query behind the graph sort from lowest to highest or highest to lowest.   The Col list box allows you to select which of the columns you wish to run the sorting on.

Top Values

Click on the 50% selection to only see the top 50% of values that have been selected and sorted in your current graph.

Data Table

If you want to see the values and graph together in the one view, click on this toggle button.   This works best when the underlying graph doesn't have much information.  

Query

If you want to see the information behind the graph, click on the query button.  This can help if you do not understand the way the information is being sorted.
