How Do You Fix A Corrupt Access Database ?

Every now and again our customers and even members of my team run into an Access database that is corrupt. Our usual approach is to stubbornly try and fix the database ourselves and generally we are good at doing this. Early in May, 2005, when we were battling with a database, I concluded that we were wasting too much time trying to fix our databases. After a lot of research, we teamed up with one the best repair companies on the web to bring you this unique automated repair service.  Read page on common Access corruption symptoms

What Is This Access Repair Service?

Initially you will  need to follow the prompts to upload a zip copy of your database to the Access Repair server. Once this happens, the server automatically produces a report that describes the database after it has been repaired.

The next step after reviewing this report is to pay the requested fee which is based upon the size and complexity of the database. Prices range from about $50 US dollars to $200 for large databases.

When the payment is received, you will receive an email telling you how to download the repaired database. You will also receive a security code to open the repaired database.

When you open the database, you will encounter an Access form with a to-do list of things to manually complete the repairs to the database. Most of these final fixes have to do with linked tables and unknown VBA references and they are mostly resolved automatically with a post installation wizard.

It should take about 30 minutes in elapsed time to complete this process.
