Inbox Rules
 
Directing all your Basecamp alert emails into one folder can make managing your basecamp communications easier.  Here is how to do it
 
  Create a new folder
 
Create a new move to foler rule (substitite [your] basecamp website for [vb123.com]
 
 
Now all my basecamp emails arrive in the one folder. All you have to do is sort the emails in reverse Received order and all the new Basecamp email alerts will appear at the top.

Keep Your Text Structure

If you are posting structured code into a message, surround it using the tags <pre> before and </pre> after and then the code  will not lose its correct
format.

 
Spelling  
 
If you or your team cannot spell properly, try the spell checker in the Google toolbar.  Also there is an Auto fix option in the Spell checker that will fix everything and leave text green for you to unfix. Firefox also has a spell checker.

API  / Allowing advanced basecamp software communications To talk to Basecamp using your own software, (or ThickToast) you will need to log in as Account Owner  and go to your main dashboard. Now choose the Accounts tab and at the bottom of that page you will find Basecamp API. On this page you can export your database to xml format.
